Body Worlds is the internationally renowned anatomical exhibition founded by Dr Gunther von Hagens, showcasing real human bodies preserved through plastination. The flagship museum in London’s Piccadilly Circus has drawn over 49 million visitors worldwide and was honoured with the TripAdvisor 2019 Travellers’ Choice Award for its powerful, life-changing visitor experiences.
We were appointed by Body Worlds in 2018 to deliver dependable website support and maintenance, resolve critical issues, and enhance functionality within their Drupal CMS. The digital team required a more responsive and reliable agency to provide rapid technical assistance, something their previous provider had been unable to sustain.
Working in close collaboration with the Body Worlds team, we conducted a thorough website audit to assess performance and identify improvement areas. We applied robust security patches, updated software, and fixed bugs. To empower the internal team, we also integrated a visual builder tool, enabling staff to create customised pages and layouts independently, reducing reliance on external design support and lowering ongoing costs
