The National Film and Television School is one of the world’s most respected institutions for film, television, and games education. With award-winning alumni and an industry-focused curriculum, NFTS plays a pivotal role in developing the next generation of creative talent.
We were brought on board by NFTS to redesign and rebuild their website with the goal of better reflecting the School’s world-class reputation, improving user journeys for prospective students, and streamlining internal workflows. The previous website had grown outdated, with an overly complex structure, inconsistent branding, and limited content flexibility – particularly for showcasing media-rich content.
Working closely with the NFTS marketing and IT teams, we delivered a modern, high-performance Drupal website that brings the School’s creative energy to life while providing robust tools to support recruitment, content publishing, and digital strategy.
The client’s primary objectives included:
- Improving user experience and prospective student journeys
We restructured the site’s architecture to simplify navigation and prioritise key content such as course listings, application information, and student work. The fully responsive design ensures a smooth, intuitive experience across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. - Flexible content management
The new Drupal build uses a modular editing system that allows NFTS staff to update content easily, showcase student achievements, and publish news or events in real time. This empowers teams across departments to manage their areas of the site independently, with no technical barriers. - Showcasing creative work and industry links

We refreshed the visual language of the site to align with the NFTS’s bold, modern image – using dynamic visuals, clear messaging, and thoughtful design choices to engage a creative audience. The result is a website that both informs and inspires. - Streamlining internal workflows
To reduce operational friction, we delivered training, documentation, and technical support that enabled the internal team to manage content, manage application submissions, and respond quickly to campaign needs. This improved day-to-day efficiency and future scalability.

- NFTS website page visits increased by 22%
- Conversions (applications submitted to NFTS courses) increased by a massive 141%
